Consider Delivery by Drones When Building Property in NoidA

If things progress as many expect, property in Noida may have an additional feature which buyers may need to consider before purchasing a home. Over the past few years, drones have been widely discussed in the news and are touted as a viable means to facilitate the transfer of products from warehouses into homes. Ever since drones began to be used by the United States to carry out military strikes on those the US government considered to be threats, drones have captured the imagination of many across the world. The private sector has once again shown its dynamism by adopting a technology which was intended for military use to facilitate commerce. To those old enough to remember, the intent behind the creation of the internet was to create a resilient system capable of communication across vast distances in the event of a first nuclear strike which would have adversely affected military’s communication systems. Originally designed for military use, the Internet has rapidly grown to be the most potent force driving trade, commerce, communications, and entertainment over the past twenty years. Drones which were first seen on the battlefield may now be used in sync with the internet to remove the human element completely from a commercial organization's supply chain.

New projects in Noida may need a new facet to enable delivery to the doorstep of many homes by aerial drones. This is not a laughable proposition, not any more than would have been thought of thirty years ago regarding things done routinely today using the internet. Drones are already being used in buildings to carry out tasks which were henceforth done by human beings. Many hotels today successfully use robots for room service, in short, the potential to replace the logistics in an organization's supply chain by robots is gaining steam and many of the most successful companies are betting big on the success of drones and robots in an organization's supply chain. Builders in Noida may consider creating developments already geared to embrace this new paradigm by creating developments which facilitate easy delivery by drones to people’s homes. The vast majority of countries where the use of drones for commercial applications is being taken seriously are developed countries; hence they already have a great deal of physical infrastructure in place to enable a successful logistical transformation enabling drones to deliver goods to people’s homes. Luxury apartments in Noida, though inside developments which have first world infrastructure, are surrounded by third world infrastructure on the outside which hinders the movement of drones. Additional measures must be taken to improve infrastructure to enable drones and robots to carry out menial tasks that are today done by people. Residential projects in Noida should be built keeping in mind that in ten to fifteen years’ doorstep delivery by drones may become commonplace and rather than expecting only the companies which use drones to adapt, real estate developers in Noida too should do the best to make homes today ready for the tremendous changes ahead. Such changes need not only be made to only high-end projects, rather even affordable housing in Noida should be ready to embrace a future where drones are regularly employed to deliver goods from warehouses or kitchens into people’s homes.
The changes mentioned above are more than likely to happen; greater technological innovation will drive commerce in the future with a speed which will make the changes over the past thirty years seem tame. Many people are losing their jobs due to the increasing sophistication of AI which is able to carry out tasks which were earlier considered undoable by machines if drones and robots are used regularly to deliver goods to people homes than it is likely that many more jobs shall be lost. This segment of the population which does logistical roles most likely does not suspect what may lay in store for them, yet they could in the future be better employed in a role which provides a greater benefit to society than simply delivering goods to people’s homes. The destruction of one industry usually leads to the emergence of several new ones.
